Since september 2007, 1219 people have signed the petiton “For a Healthy Option: Cannabis Social Clubs”, launched by the UK Legalise Cannabis Alliance. On 26 February 2008, the UK Government responded as follows:

Trekt Uw Plant allows Belgian cannabis consumers to provide themselves with cannabis without any commercial trade taking place. Every member can grow his/her personal plant in our collective plantation, according to strict but simple rules and statutes.

In October 2006, Amigos de María – Gasteiz
initiated the first Internet Pharmacy for therapeutical cannabis in Spain. This non-profit initiative facilitates the contact between patients and growers through the Internet. Its sole purpose is to improve the quality of life of patients who wish to benefit from the advantages offered by THC (tetrahydrocannabinol), the active substance in cannabis.

Ganjazz Art Club is a Cannabis users association created in a little village near San Sebastián in the Basque Country, officially registered since 2002., Currently the club is composed of 200 members and at the moment there is no more place for more people.
