Gaby studied languages, ecology, and nutrition science before working at management level in steel trade across CIS countries for ten years. This period provided extensive experience in international commerce and organisational management.
Following this, she spent seven years in Guatemala in the post-civil war context. She began as an international human rights “acompañante” and later organised the construction of a school in the remote community of Chocruz. There, she served as director, teacher, and medical support staff.
After returning to Austria, she worked as trainer, coach, and coordinator in educational initiatives supporting residents and refugees.
Within ENCOD, she is responsible for financial oversight, budgetary integrity, and administrative coordination. Her work ensures transparent management and structural stability across the organisation.
She speaks and writes German, English, and Spanish, and converses in French and Russian.
