2011 saw an explosion in the UK cannabis movement.
This has been down to refusing to keep the subject a taboo any more. We are here and we are proud of what we are, all with the common love of cannabis for whatever purpose but even more importantly we are here to BRING AN END TO THE UNJUST PROHIBITION OF CANNABIS!
If you have not yet connected with any of the newly established CSCs (Cannabis Social Clubs) please find the one that you fall into. Currently these are just an online presence but as 2012 unfolds I will be releasing information that will help us progress to the next phase. All things have to start somewhere and this is the fruit of a collaboration of work by people all over the UK. If there is no group already in your area why not Grow Your Own Cannabis Community and plant the seed that could start something to make a change! We are all in this together but no one is going to do it for you.
So, in alphabetical order until there are too many to sift through – here is a list of all currently active UK Cannabis Social Clubs. This will be updated as new groups establish themselves and eventually as they grow and the phases are rolled out an interactive map will be introduced to help people physically see us grow on the map of of our little islands. This is a serious strategy to make a change via presence in the UK, we can only be heard if we make ourselves a presence. By creating a network for activists and enthusiasts people can be helped on all levels, politically, medically and socially – everyone’s message can be spread.

There are 92 counties in the UK so ideally we would like to see at least one for each of them (no duplicates please) but already we have “East Surrey” and “West Yorkshire” to show that bigger counties will find more support in localizing the group slightly more. It will also help when future phases roll out and we bring this into the real world.

How do I find my local club, recently moved to the isle of wight and I dont know anyone so would be great to meet some new characters with something in common. Im done with chavs and the fact that government is forcing me to interact with these types and putting money in their pockets doesn’t make sense to me.

Great to see all this happening. I would love to join my local cannabis club and connect with other like-minded individuals. However, essex cc only have a facebooh presence and I don’t particularly want all my friends, family and colleagues to know about it! Please consider alternative ways of having online support as I am sure this will dissuade others. I am a working, professional man in my 30s, who enjoys to relax with cannabis. There must be loads like me, but, like me, they are forced to hide it away!

Its schedule one becuase in 1937, Harry J. Anslinger demonized a plant that grew wild across this great nation, from sea to shining sea. Schedule I just means it has no medicinal value. Schedule II means that it is used medically. For example: methamphetamine and amphetamine are used to treat ADD/ADHD, narcolepsy, and depression. Cocaine is used medicinally as a topical anesthetic (to numb parts of the body)or in some rare cases, for cancer patients to give them energy, but amphetamine works better as it lasts much longer. Cocaine lasts for about 30-45 min, whereas methamphetamine can last up to 14 hours. According to the federal Government, Marijuana has no medicinal value and it is soooo dangerous that it has to be made illegal for our own protection. Although marijuana is nowhere near as harmful as any of these drugs, it continues to remain Schedule I.

hi i would love to no more, i recently got raided and fed up of worrying about geetin caught with a bit of herb for personal use. i had 8 plants. am thinkin about moving somewhere were im not breaking the law. i am 25 and a reformed cocaine addict, i could of never got of that stuff without cannabis. after i stoped the coke i am left with horrible anxiety and can not sleep without a smoke or taking meds witch are horrible, they make me feel like im back on the old class a substances. any help or info on were i can grow/move and be safe from worry about my medication been taken and destroyed will be much appreciated. much luv guys
